Celebrating a Century of Excellence and Innovation

Founded in 1924 by Daniel Dietcher under the name Century Iron and Metal Company, Acier Century has evolved and reinvented itself over the decades. From 1970 to 1995, the Dietcher family partnered with the Beaudin family, and the company became Century Metal. In 1995, two passionate brothers, Michel Chiasson and Karl Beaudin, became co-owners and renamed the company Acier Century.

As we proudly celebrate our 100th anniversary in the steel recycling industry, we highlight a century of dedication to sustainability, innovation, and environmental responsibility. Since our beginnings, we have been at the forefront of transforming metal waste into valuable resources, playing a key role in creating a greener planet.
